Okay . . . trying to post every other day was a GOAL . . . It is not carved in stone anywhere . . . I went out of town over the weekend to attend a very special. dearly loved little boy's birthday celebration . . . That was more important than blogging . . .
I am a teensy bit disappointed that I have already messed up, but when we got back, I was too tired to think about blogging . . . then Monday was a BUSY day with work and getting caught up on everything that I let slide for those days I was gone . . . So the first chance I really got, I did blog again . . .
SIGH . . .
I am trying . . . at least I am trying . . .
I have decided that my blog would be considerably more interesting if I was visiting cool castles regularly . . . or had adorable toddlers to show off . . .
I've had a goal to finish a book I'm writing (I am mere chapters/page from the end of the first draft) for the past couple months.
ReplyDeleteFor the last week I've been telling myself 'I am going to write everyday'. That lasted all of... well, the day that I said I would do it. : )
Just keep at it though. Habits aren't easy to form immediately. I may have not made my 'write every day to finish your novel' goal, but I /am/ slowly trudging forward and working on eventually being where I can write everyday - even if just a little.
And for some reason... are you talking about a certain sister of mine when you mention castles and toddlers? ;D

LOL about castles and toddlers... I enjoy reading what you write, even if it is just to say that you feel like you should write more, but don't have time haha ;) My Mishi's Musings Blog is more that way. I just write when I really feel motivated to on that one and sometimes I go months.

NOTHING since then shows up . . .

I know when Natalee went private with hers, I couldn't access it either, no matter how many invites she sent me (and I never got an invite from you) . . . Is there a place where you put what people can view it? Maybe you need to put my Gmail address instead of the hotmail one . . . It is the same, it just has '.sue' before the '@gmail.com' . . .

Yeah, my blog is private. Right now only immediate (sorry - I know, I know, I should change that) family members can read it - mostly because I posted story related stuff on it and I am ultra paranoid about anyone, you know, even GLIMPSING anything that might be relevant to my story. ;D
ReplyDeleteI need to go back and check to see what I have written. I don't really write in it that often - but it would be fun to let people have more access to it. I might do a writing blog (just about generalities of writing - not my actual story). I thought it would be fun.
Oh no worries at all, Tiff . . . I spent most of my life being VERY private about sharing my thoughts and writings with people . . . I TOTALLY get that . . .
